Robb, a third-generation Colorado native, and his wife Cindy met while racing catamarans.  One year after a race, Robb found himself in a shack in the depths of the Caribbean jungle with some locals who were making a homemade rum.  The rum he discovered that night was unlike anything else he had ever tasted. ​

When Robb returned the next year to find the elusive rum, he found the rum shack—and its enigmatic creators—gone without a trace. Undeterred, Robb embarked on a quest that spanned decades, from the vibrant shores of the Caribbean to the tranquil landscapes of his Colorado home, to bring to the world, that unforgettable rum.
